All I Want For Christmas - Part I
Share

Hello my dear Internet Friends,

I hope you are doing well. My best friend, who lives in Paris sent the below image with Christmas trees in Paris to our chat group which means - Christmas is closer than we think. I looked it up, and we are talking - only eight more Mondays until we are there! Therefore I thought I’d create a gift guide and I do believe I might make a second one, which is why this is part I. I see nice things all the time, so why not split it.

This week was just work work work, I didn’t do much else, but I had a bit of an outfit-crisis feeling, so I bought some things from Paloma Wool and Toteme - the latter I didn’t keep, because on paper the products were great (I bought a mohair knit and a pair of knee-high boots), but for the price it needs to be love at first sight, and it wasn’t. So. I am looking for a great wool jumper, maybe I make a newsletter out of it as I am looking anyways?

Do you know Amelia Dimoldenberg? I think she is officially the funniest person I know. She went as Roz from Monsters Inc. for Halloween. How good.

Also you should watch the below episode (and all others too) of Chicken Shop Date (what she is famous for) with Andrew Garfield. There is a reason it has 2.7 Mio views…!

There is an online archive sale at beloved Danish brand Saks Potts -you can sign up to their newsletter for an extra 10%, which I did. I already looked at everything, the prices are really good! You can get the iconic coats for 50% off, and lots of other things which are up to 75% off.

Anyways. Here is the guide, which I hope you’ll enjoy! I think like I am quite influenced by American culture, which is obviously because I read a lot of American substacks and follow American brands…

Ombrellina Olive Branch

A good lamp is also a very good Christmas present. I love this lamp by Mattina Moderna, it’s really special - the orange works perfectly well with the silver. Also available in rosé, which also looks good!

Ghia Merch

I really like ghia, which I guess is a known fact because I have mentioned it very, very often in the past four (?) years. I like all their merch, and my friend from Paris kindly received a water bottle which I ordered to her hotel in LA when she was there for a business trip which she has brought to Paris and is now sending to me. I cannot wait! They don’t allow for European customers to buy, you will have to find a way around (but I always do, so I have faith in you too).

Bubble Ball Glasses

I LOVE bubble ball glasses! Didn’t know they were called this, but it sounds great. Found these and these on Etsy - love them.

Jewelry

Sophie Buhai

I am obsessed with all the things LA-based jewelry designer Sophie Buhai makes. On the quite expensive side, but it’s so beautiful and one-of-a-kind. You can also check Vestiaire for vintage SB pieces!

Juju Vera

This American brand has beautiful jewelry and objects, available on Moda Operandi and their website.
