Hello my dear Internet Friends,

I hope you are doing well and your week is good. If you read my newsletter regularly, you know that all my posts are longer than the email length! So please open in-app :)

This week I was asked for the hottest places in Munich and Paris via Instagram dm, so I thought I’d share a kind reminder that with the founding membership you can ask me for a reasonable amount of tailored city tips ranging around art, restaurants, hotels and shopping.

I tried out two new boutique gyms this week (I love boutique gyms, it’s my weak point). One of them was amazing - it’s called KORE, a body sculpting studio. Love these wordings, make me feel I already did the work lol. They serve very tasty kruut spritz (obviously non-alcoholic) after class which was a nice touch. The other gym was very beautiful aesthetically, but they had a very questionable way to deal with new clients - I sometimes wonder how this can happen if you JUST opened and manage to be really rude to the people who come in? I won’t say the name, will give them one more chance and either never talk about it again or recommend it.

If you are in Berlin, you should go to a pop-up at one of my favourite hotels Château Royal this weekend: One of my favourite designers, William Fan, is holding a big archive sale there. I was able to try everything on Thursday already and there are so many amazing pieces especially the blazers, coats and handbags…Highly recommended.

Loved the pink sequin coat, the red bag and the big fur coat <3

I have been working on this second part of the Christmas Gift Guide, over the past weeks I saved everything I liked that came across my screen or past my eyes and collected it for this newsletter and…it kind of organically grew. I got from the hat to the stick, so it’s a lot of beautiful things - categorised into jewellery, fashion and interior, sometimes it’s just one product, sometimes it’s a brand that is great to look at as a whole, sometimes my favourites from my Vestiaire list.

Also, it’s still Black Week, so it’s a good time to shop! I normally try to stay away from this sale as I think it’s a tactic to lures me into shopping things I don’t need…If you manage to make a list prior to the sale with things you actually want - then it’s great - but I always forget.

Jewellery

Yara Sophia

I initially never wanted to tell anyone about this brand. The reason is that I got my wedding band customised by her and I wanted to gatekeep it. But Faith, who is the founder of the brand, is just the nicest person and therefore I changed my mind. I couldn’t decide for any wedding band last year before my wedding, because I found all the classic ones boring…Until I found this brand: Faith has worked for over a decade in technology development at NASA, and to be specific, at the NASA-jet propulsion laboratory - exploring planets, surfaces, atmospheres, and stars. Her work profoundly influenced her jewellery brand, .inspired by space exploration and the beauty of the natural world, bridging the worlds of art, science, and craftsmanship, all with recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones. Faith is based in LA, and we had a very lovely and personal process of getting the ring ready together.

Kiki Dieterle

I knew this name through my friend Nella, who has exhibited the brand in beautiful space - but Kiki and I actually met at a party and then properly at Andreas Murkudis (one of the best stores in Berlin) and had a long conversation. After that I had a closer look on what she does which is beautiful jewellery in gold and silver. You can buy her jewellery at Murkudis or at pop-ups in Berlin in the coming weeks (for example here) or via dm.

Moya Jewellery

I found this small UK-brand by chance when I was looking for a photographer for a shoot. Really special jewellery, that I haven’t really seen on anyone else.

Studio Mantel

Beautiful objects and jewellery <3 Based in London.

The Year of The Flood

Obsessed with this vintage jewellery shop with original signed jewellery. On the more expensive side, I would come here if I have something to celebrate or maybe also for a wedding ring.

Single Finds

Here some items from my wishlist:

  • I am drooling over these Bottega Twist plexi-blue hoops, from Vestiaire 283 Euro

  • These incredible turquoise babies from Pearl Octopussy as well as these silver mini oysters

  • Jennifer Behr silver snail earrings, on sale, 150 Euro

Interior

Galerie Paradis

This is such a fantastic interior destination from Paris (of course) where you can buy pitchers, vases, magazine holders, incredible lambs, paravents, chairs, tables…They also have my favourite Bambole sofa by Mario Bellini which I snapped on eBay for an incredible price saving it from a furniture resolution. I have sold it now because of space, but it’s so good.
